A.G. HOUSE – Accessible Home Renovation Designed for Wellness and Dopamine Balance
A.G. HOUSE is part of the FEEL RENOVATED path—a thoughtful renovation project located in Kfar Saba for a couple around the age of 60. The renovation was carried out to create a fully accessible home tailored to the specific needs of Parkinson’s disease, while ensuring that the space radiates peace, vitality, and healing.
To support dopamine production and well-being, the interior incorporates natural materials such as warm wooden flooring, stone tiles, and non-allergenic mosaics in the bathrooms. The home was designed with minimalist furniture, creating a sense of openness and calm that is essential to emotional health.
The color palette includes soft, earthy tones with gentle touches of orange—known for its uplifting qualities, promoting energy and joy of life. Smart lighting was customized for various scenarios and movement paths throughout the home, with special attention to seating and gathering areas.
This accessible home renovation seamlessly blends functionality with emotional and sensory awareness, offering a haven of comfort, dignity, and wellness for aging in place.
