An apartment in Kfar Saba that underwent a thorough renovation for a couple around the age of 60 and for the purpose of making the apartment accessible due to Parkinson's disease.
Parkinson's disease is a degenerative disease of the nervous system. It causes a degenerative process in the cells that produce dopamine.
In order to improve and encourage dopamine production, we chose to use a wooden floor as a natural material, stone tiles and mosaics in the bathrooms as a non-allergenic non-allergenic base for the house.
The house was designed in a clean and minimalistic furniture style to give a sense of openness and the peace and quiet that are essential for the soul. The chosen palette of colors is gentle, quiet and natural, combined with a touch of the color orange, which symbolizes healing, and encourages vitality, energy and joy of life, which encourage an increase in dopamine in the space.
The lighting was designed for several different scenarios and according to walking routes and seating and gathering areas according to the different needs.
